Gents, I posted the tech specs for the mod here: http://www.simracinghub.com/forum/3777-srhf1-2019

Keep an eye on the engine oil temp, it will not be forgiving if you avg above 114C so aim to be at optimal at least (107C).

the race is set to start at 4 pm , hard to get around with all those shadows.

car feels very aero loose , rear wing at 32/67 3/4 throttle looped around 32/85 max rear car was more stable
and harder to lose. this is throttle based looseness not high speed.

just pointing out something i noticed not complaining and bitching in case i said it wrong! :D

Deuce,
Probably best to get the track fully rubbered in before you start really evaluating the handling.

SRH,
Even 114 seems quite low for oil temp. This could make it very difficult to keep engine alive for entire race. Let's see how it goes...

Mike Conger the fuel distance displayed in rF2 is usually incorrect, you have to go by your calculations.

Deuce Michaels wait until the track has rubber, this is usually the feeling with a green track.

Cory Mackey if you can't keep the oil cool even with the highest radiator duct, let me know. This is not how it was during the tests Jeff Oppenheim performed. Remember, it's an average, you may have peaks but also the valleys help with wear too.

The distance display wasn’t that far off before it would show like 80L plus now 45L at a full tank thats not right shouldn’t b that far off it wasn’t showing that b4.That a big discrepancy.just an observation.

I don't know exactly how rF2 calculates that but I know it doesn't come from the mod.

I know you are new to rF2 and fuel is one thing you have to calculate manually since you can't trust that display.

Ok so the 2018 Albert Park fuel read 135L= (89)laps 2019 Melbourne fuel read 135L = (45)laps. This is why i was confused .i do try to calculate the fuel but use that reading as a reference. So is there a problem with my game or just Rfactor2 in general . Never notice it b4 but I’ve really been trying to figure out setups and change in numbers r catching my eye so if I see something with a big change in value i gotta wonder what’s up.

Mike Conger

dont trust rfactor games fuel calculation , use a hud with fuel listing or run 10 laps and see how much you use and use that as your benchmark.

I just joined server near the end of practice and it seems pretty dark compared to normal.

Yeah the real race starts at 4.10pm.

If the track gets too dark then I guess we can move it a bit sooner then. I haven't tried it yet.

Yeah I believe rF2 accounts for that but it may not be that accurate. We can move it back 1 hour if that helps.

im thinking 1 1/2 to 2 hrs to keep the shadows from taking over too much. will watch the race and see how shadowy the track is .
