Looks like just the brakes, reduced on the front and increased on the rear:

Was:
- Max brake torque: 4890.0 Nm (Front), 3990.0 Nm (Rear)
- Half torque temp: 1200 C

Now:
- Max brake torque: 4485.0 Nm (Front), 4485.0 Nm (Rear)
- Half torque temp: 1100 C

The brakes, like Bill said. Additional to that, this:

- Wings were adjusted
- Boost was adjusted to narrow the effects from boost 1 to 3
- Base boost was increased so now boost 1 has more of a kick
- Tire grip was reduced 3 to 5% across all compounds to create more differences between them
- Water cooling was improved in an effort to reduce potential engine failures while waiting for the starting lights

We've never had that. F1 cars don't have it either.

I'm no fan of the new sounds, do you guys want me to put the old ones back?

Boss, Jeff said to me he should be able to fix the current sounds. Should we give that a try before bringing the old ones back?

Hey Otto, actually all I did was work up a fix for the "Classic" engine sounds, so they will sound right in this 2021 mod. Didn't mean to give the impression I was working with the turbo V-6's, which are a marginal improvement over last year's, imo.

These sounds we have now are just not inspiring. I rather have the 2019 sounds than last year's even though Janos insist they are the same, but at least the Honda wasn't.

Hehe....it could be a moot point once you hear that Classic Ferrari V-12, Otto! :D

Hey guys,

If you're using one of last year's setups, here is a table you can use to convert last year's wing settings to this year's:

Update:
The above table only converts for SRHF1_2020_v 1.0.0 which we used during the regular season.

For setups you used in the Winter Series we were using v 0.9.0 which had different wings.

So here's another table that has conversions to our SRHF1_2021_v 0.0.7, from both 2020 versions.

Sorry I didn't catch it sooner. :(

Richard Hayne sent this for folks who want their "received" folder to retain all setups:

Go to the player file. In "game Option", you'll find "Keep Received Setups. I set it to 3, so I have to manually delete them from the "Received Setups" folder:
"Keep Received Setups":3,
"Keep Received Setups#":"0=do not accept, 1=keep until next track, 2=keep until exit, 3=keep forever"

Thanks Richie

Also the cool thing now with this UI is that you can see the date. Sometimes I'd have 2 Otto01 setups, and not sure which was a new one. Now you can tell in game, in your "received" folder

By now you've already got a pretty good handle on your 2021 aero balance so you probably won't need this One Last Re-visit of the Wing Conversion Table. I'm just putting it here to set the thing straight since the prior versions turned out to be...er...um...a disappointment ( junk). Argh!

It turns out that the setups you used in the Winter Series 2020 were using different wing sets for each pre season race! v 0.8.0 at Sepang, v 0.9.0 at Hockenheim, and v 0.9.9 at Istanbul.

So this table has conversions to our SRHF1_2021_v 0.8.0, from all three 2020 Pre-season versions, as well as the wing downforce set we used for the regular 2020 season.

Hi guys. I'm new to the forum but I have been using your mods for a couple of years now. Excellent cars and tracks, so thank you to all of the team for your hard work. With the 2021 car I am having a really tough time doing a setup. The car seems to have way less grip on throttle than last year. I can barely complete a lap with it. Does anyone have any setup suggestions? I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
