Hi Matt,

Please go here then paste in the file.
Then all you need to do is load up rf2 and go to Content and Settings then select Manage and find the file you put there. It should have an X on the right side of it as uninstalled. Select the file and choose install from the right side menu. Next time you look it should be installed. Hope this helps.

I like the mod.
I don't know if it's just me, but he soft tires seem to be just about like the mediums, not any faster for me. I would think they should be about .5 a lap faster, at least.
The brakes seem to take more distance to slow down from previous mods, but that's ok with me, more chances for over taking.

DRS has no effect for me. I see the flap opening, but I gain NO speed at all from it.

Yeah I think you can run lower ducts and have the straightline speed but it will over heat the brakes more and increase the braking distance by quite a bit. Havnt tried the DRS yet so can't comment on that

Did you install the cars and track manually? I suspect the problem is that they are not installed yet and it's trying to automatically download from the server, taking a long time.

OK.... time to complain :p jk jk :p

1. I think when following a car thru turns, the loss of downforce is relatively strong. The car really loses grip trying to make corners. (maybe that's just mugello for now)

On the other hand, the tow/draft when following a car (e.g. out of last turn in mugello) is in my opinion very good. I can tell my speed increases from a good distance back while behind a car, but at the same time its not too powerful so I think its a good compromise.

With extra care and preciseness this is manageable the way it is, but after all this is a game and we are trying to have fun. I think its more fun if people can follow closer in dirty air to promote more racing and overtaking (just like they are trying to do in real life)

2. Cambers - I will do a bit more testing of this but in general, the time gained over a lap with -6.00 cambers on front compared to -3.00 cambers on front is more then the
amount of tire you are "supposed" to save while on -3.00 camber(by some type of logic - correct me if I'm wrong). I did notice a change in the temperature between in/middle/out over a stint but taking a corner (e.g. 2 fast right handers in S2) the tire temperature between having -6 camber and -3 is not a significant difference.

So to sum it up, I think u gain some time having -6 camber and the penalty for tire wear is not that substantial.

3. What else... Radiator

If possible, Janos see if you can change the slider to go up by 5% instead of 10%. I noticed on this track running 30% is just over the temps. but running 40% RAD, car is cool. Not a big deal but if its like 1 min job, I'm sure you will do it =]

Janos,
Any chance of adding choice of engine sound, like last season? If not, no worries. You have bigger fish to fry.

Why was the rear wing drag changed? I'm just curious.

Sean, the mod just seems a little fast. The body drag was increased enough to slow the car from ~348 down to a "proper" speed at Monza with the wings down, ~342. (w/o DRS ).
Then, with that established, the slope of the Rear Wing drag curve was increased to slow the car from ~299 down to a "proper" speed at Monaco with the wings full up, ~ 285.
Drag is unaffected with the rear wing down, but now is increased progressively as the rear wing goes up.

You shouldn't really see any difference except with high wing angles.
