The Mercedes W10 Wheel Project begins!

Some background me: I'm an automotive/mechanical engineer with extensive experience in CAD (primarily NX, but getting more familiar with Fusion 36). I never grew up racing but have always loved cars, resto-moding cars, and racing. I've been sim racing on iRacing since ~Oct 2018 and now I'm in love with it. Just joined with SRH group this summer as I wanted to get into a realistic F1 league and the guys here are awesome - very supportive, competitive, and skilled.
I just had back surgery a week ago and can't get into my sim rig for another 4-5 weeks, so I'm making use of my time doing my other passion - design and manufacturing.

This video is a quick snippit of what's in the works. I was able to get a hold of a W09 wheel .OBJ (I believe it is a scanned and cleaned up 3D surface) that I am not building/adapting into a solid and working W10 sim wheel. There is still a lot of design work to go, but I'll post the progress on here and on my YouTube channel.
