Argenis Riera's seventh victory of the year marked the end of the 2016 SRHF1 Drivers Championship. The Brazilian Grand Prix had us on the edge of our seats for the entire race. We saw familiar faces return to SimRacingHub with the likes of Cory Mackey and Nathan Byrd. A new driver was also present, Sasha McHenry, who promises to be a threat for 2017. Otto Acosta secured second place in the Drivers Championship after finishing behind Riera. Cory Mackey returned with style by finishing on the last step of the podium for Toro Rosso, also moving the last place team one place up and earning valuable points towards the Constructors Championship.
