Not a problem man. My race was bad long before that.
I slowed down because I was waiting for you to leave, but then you were taking so long so I decided to go for it.
I'm not sure if we have a rule about this. In formula 1, the driver leaving the box should yield, otherwise, it's unsafe release.

I started to leave, but saw you coming, dangerous release, so I waited. You just didn't get your car inside your pit box. Take a look...

Doing 2 stop was a mistake lost out on points, but had a good race though. Congrats Otto on win.

...Congrats Otto on win.

Thanks Dave. This is my first win in 2 years...very long drought. But I have to say the car was incredibly good, like someone said all those years ago 'even a monkey would had won in my car today'. We had been getting closer, 2 podium finishes in the previous 2 races, but never thought a win was possible as other people's bad luck had contributed to those podiums.

Thanks to all who had helped me over the course of the season, Adam, Ezequiel, Sean but specially my mates Rix Haynie and Richie Walcott.

Congrats to the 2 Ferrari boys for yet another double-podium.
To finish first, you first have to finish!

I have a question. If guys are going to get DQ'd from the race, from a qualifying infraction, why let them on the track TO race?
I personally think the penalty is a bit draconian, but it's the rule right now.
Just asking.

The problem is that there's no time to determine that live, it's done after the race. I'm not a fan of the penalty either and proposed to change it but nobody cared... Check the other topic about the regulations and you'll see...

I think people don't care about the escape and come back on, but DQ'd from whole race seems harsh. Maybe open that specific question up after the season?
